I know everyone shops on Amazon and I am one of the biggest addicts out there! If I only order one thing in a week's time, I must be completely broke or very ill!! But, many people do not realize that Amazon can also be used as a reading teacher resource. I mentioned in an earlier post the "25 Books Too Good to Miss". On the third grade hall I have made a poster for each book. I have a picture of the book cover and a short narrative about the book. I got the narratives and the pictures of the book covers from Amazon.com. Also, they have several book reviews from readers. Amazon is a great asset to help determine which books are the best to buy, especially when funds are limited and you want to make sure you get the most bang for your buck.
