How multicultural is your classroom? My students are usually made up of Caucasian and African American children, but we live in a community of many cultures. So, I felt my students need to learn about other cultures. I have a multi-cultural center in my classroom now which has many books about other cultures and some activities the children can complete after reading each book. I found a great list of 50 books that every classroom should have and I want to share it with all of you!

All children need to develop a love for reading so they can visit places they never knew were attainable to them!
